Bersin over Boykin

I like them both. People hate bersin for the punt returns last year, but he is automatic when we need a first down.  I wish we'd target him more when we need one

well we targeted him on that one play in the playoffs and he couldn't get off the line of scrimmage. Just saying the kid is what he is Udfa from wofford that can make a play every once in a while but if we depending on him we're in trouble

Our staff loves the familiar and are completely non-receptive to change until they have no choice.

I believe Boykin is the better reciever, BUT he hasn't gotten much time with the 1's to really prove he can play.

Cam literally throws to every scrub on the field.   Nothing suggests Cam has any preference for him.

he's upset cause Boykin deserves  Browns spot. He's outplayed him for it and on top of that Philly forgot how to catch.  

I don't care how open u get  you have to catch the freaking ball.

I'm gonna ride with Boykin on this one.

Brown could possibly never recover and at some point he'll quit trying to get open cause he knows they'll throw it to him.

The twos didn't even play a full quarter yesterday. Boykin had a couple reps with the ones, played with the twos then was done until the last drive of the game. 

Threes got more reps last night. Boykin is ahead of Bersin.

The main reason why bersin is favored over boyin, is bersin competely knows the playbook ( even OL/TE parts)and he plays STs. Many forget, but bersin is the longest tenure WR here. Not saying I agree with coaches favoring bersin, but they trust him more same for cam. Cam loves him ssome bersin, that's one of his "guys".

Side bar- is Olsen and Dickson faster than cotchey, bersin, and boyin? I believe so, which is very sad. Panthers have three of a kind, the slow can't get space kind.

I don't know what Boykin can do more than he already has. He plays special teams, catches everything and makes first downs. He isn't a burner but he excels at route running and getting open. He know where to be and where the seams and holes will be. He is a good sized physical receiver who knows how to use his body unlike Brown who lets the ball and the defender into his body playing too soft.

I'm still, to this day, trying to figure out what has Brown and Bersin actually done to warrant this much trust in them. The favoritism bullsh*t every year from our coaches just pisses me off. It's always until it's too late before they actually make any changes, and it's been the norm with these stubborn asses during their tenure here. The fact that Boykin got so few snaps with the ones yesterday irritated me. We have to see what other guys can do with Cam. Who knows, maybe Cam and Boykin hit it off from the beginning and they create something special. You won't ever know unless they try.

I honestly think both boykin and bersin need to make the squad. corey brown has not proven he deserves a spot. if we are truly only interested in the best 53, how does corey brown make it?
