We only have one issue.. Remove Brown from the roster and we are legitimate contenders.

The fact that he was open on so many of those plays last night is enough reason to keep him around. He's got a case of the yips. He'll figure it out and move forward.

Exactly. He mentioned trying to be more of a hands catcher. I would bet this is something that's in his head, as crazy as it sounds for an NFL receiver, catching with his hands away from his body isn't natural to him yet. He'll continue to work on this throughout the next few weeks and it'll be a non-issue as we move forward. Getting open is the hard part, he's been doing that. Just gotta seal the deal, Corey (with your hands).

We're gonna need a running game to be a contender.

I would definitely agree with that. Pass protection is much better but where are the holes for the backs?

I haven't even read the 1st post in this thread, but the title was all I had to see to say BS. Brown is the only issue? What a crock.

I wish I had the time to write down every idiot's name who thinks we should cut Brown. Because at the end of the season, after he posts up 500 yards I wold start a crow eating thread and post up your ridiculous statements. His hands have looked HORRIBLE the last two games, but outside of that his hands were never a real issue. He has improved his route running and I predict he will be the #3 Receiver next year and will have gotten whatever mental issue he's got going on out of his head.

I think lobbying to cut him is an overreaction but its getting harder and harder to see why he continues to start.  Lets get some other guys out there with the 1's and see how they do.  Just handing it to him regardless of how he plays reeks of the kind of bone headed team management that cost us a big chunk of last season.

I think the answer is to get him out of his rut. Hes got a real knack for getting open. Something is in his head right now.

The OL is lightyears ahead of where it ususllt is now. I have no worries about the run game as they gel even more and they move beyond preseason play selection.

Preseason is for practicing.

I believe Brown will bounce back, but I had a funny moment last night when I asked myself, "Does Ted Ginn have the best hands at the position...nah couldn't be..."

All seriousness though, Ted's hands look improved from two years ago, and they looked even better when Brown was letting everything bounce off his chest.

Brown gets open so easily though. It is such a tease. He really has that knack for getting separation; just needs to attack the ball with his hands.

Mark these words---

It is easy to kick a man when he is down.  Try supporting Brown. This (to me) is mental, so it is personal to him.  He is a Panther and I will be damned if I am going to forget all he has done for this franchise as an undrafted free agent.  He is a good man and will get over this--with support.

I am guilty of it too, but lets support anyone wearing Black and Blue instead of ripping them to pieces because they dropped some passes that don't count for sh8t.

Send him support and you can save a good person and player.  How ironic is it for us to trash a person who took his game farther than any of us ever did.
