Drops

Is this a team issue?  5 dropped by the offense in the first half (yes including 2 by my boy Philly) and there were some other than Philly last game and a fair amount in game 1, including Funchess and I believe even KB before he went down. Then the Norman and Bene drops just now. And I think there was another dropped pick of Brady in the first half... Just preseason miscues? Should we be concerned about this throughout the team? And please don't make this about Philly, that's not what I'm talking about. Yes I've supported him and y'all can rip me and him all you want but not in this thread please. Should we pull a Belichick and look into those spider gloves?

There were quite a few balls that were contested and should have been caught too. receivers didn't fight for them.

Not really. The Philly drops are more of an issue because he doesnt actually use his damn hands, he doesn't seem to confident, and its a common issue with him from last year.

I can understand the DB's dropping them.  But the people that get paid to catch the ball, that's a different story especially if you drop 5 in a row 2 for TD's.  What I saw with Brown is he doesn't attack the ball and hi point it.  But also some of those throws where a little late and let the defender get into the play.  But two of them hit him dead nut and he just waited for the ball instead of attacking.
