Take a look around the leage....hell take a look on madden and see other teams have DUMPED resources into trying to find WRs for there young QBs.

This is true.

But then you don't make the logical follow-up result in many of those cases... that all the resources they've put into WRs have been utterly wasted on average to bad players, so by doing so they've flushed both money and draft picks down the toilet.

I'd rather our GM do his business like an NFL professional than like a gamer playing Madden on-line.

Quick question:

How many of these guys have a cap hit greater than 3.5 mil for 2015?

Torrey Smith

Jeremy Maclin

Michael Crabtree

Greg Jennings

Cecil Shorts

Miles Austin

Stevie Johnson

Dwayne Harris

Hakeem Nicks

Denarious Moore

Brandon Tate

Darius Heyward-Bey

...

I'll help you out...

Quick Tip: ONE.  One of them will make over 3.5 mil this season, and it's Torrey Smith, at a whopping 3.6 mil.

But, it's cool, I really enjoy fables of the impossible.

No, but apparently you do enjoy the idea of throwing money at mediocre receivers.

Most of those guys have low cap hits because they're not worth much.

mehhh. going into the season we joyfully boasted about how gettles turned the WR position into a formidable strength of the offense. then we lost KB and we haven't seen funch assume the primary role in any games (because he's been injured.)

if corey brown and jericho cotchery were actually our starting receivers several years into gettleman's reign i would be concerned.

there was this guy who posted under the username kakow here last year issuing death threats to people who weren't drinking themselves into a coma over the loss of steve smith.  he mysteriously quit posting after carolina started 2-0

anyway this gettlolman gentleman posts nearly exactly the same way as that guy did.  so that's my guess.

Interestingly enough, he and all the other whiners refuse to answer my question as to the source of the truly odd quote in the OP.

They just won't do it for some reason.

Man, the NFL drips with flop-sweat at the thought of any of those names too.

Its not legit when one's attitude is SIGN ALL THE FREE AGENTZ!!! TRADE ALL THE PLAYERZ!!! MONEYZ IZ NO OBJECT!!!

No, that's not really legit in the least.

Who is saying that?

Hyperbole, yet again to try and negate valid points of concern.

There is a huge difference between forcing your QB to suffer with scrubs masquerading as WRs and going out and signing every fuging possible WR on the market.  There is a happy medium despite what the huddle mass dichotomies try to dictate, because people can't intelligently express themselves or debate without attempting to disrespect, dismiss them altogether, or infer they're illogical and/or an idiot because you don't agree with them...  I guess it's just easier to be lazy though.

Olsen had one really bad drop as well.

drops are going to happen.

but if corey caught those passes cam would have been like 26/31 for 250 yards and 2 tds. and people wouldn't be shitting on shula as much.

shula is kind of retarded tho i do agree with a lot of stuff ppl say.

You're right, none of them could help us at all.

You're clowning people using madden insults and yet apparently think Philly Brown is better than everyone on that list.  Laughable.

What's really funny with regard to hyperbole is your view that Gettleman is trying to "force" Cam to work with lesser weapons instead of the opposing view that he's damn well doing the best he can in managing the team, adding talent, and managing the salary cap.

But, no, you're right... Gettleman hates Cam.  And he loves losing football games.  That's why he's "forcing" Cam to use weapons that suck.

You nailed it brah.
