Brown

What do you think about Deontay Wilder against him?

That's who I've wanted to fight him for a while now. Don't think it'll happen though. Wilder would take him out quicker than Corrie Sanders did a decade ago. Wilder would have none of that holding sh*t. He'd just lay him out easily. And I think Wlad knows that.

It passes me off that Boykin hasn't been put in there when Brown is obviously struggling. Why does Brown jump to catch every pass, even when Cam doesn't throw it high? Why can't he extend his arms away from his body to catch the ball? Damnit!

Because if the ball comes in higher than his chest, he has to jump to be able to catch it with his chest.

He's not just dropping the ball, he's even struggling to get his hands to the ball. Normally I never bring this up, but perhaps family, a girl, or something is bothering him. It's hard to be that bad.

This is what I thought. I asked before in the gameday thread if a relative died.

He is having a tough night for sure, but the overreactions on this board are epic.

How about we cut Stew?  His slow dancing ass cant hit a hole for nothing.  Trade him if you can get anything and just keep Tolbert as your big back.  CAP, Fozzy need to be on the field

If stew's cap hit wasn't so high, he probably would have been cut or traded this off season. He's as good as gone next season

Once again top dawg... It's preseason. This doesn't mean anything. Should we cut Olsen too because he dropped a pass? I'm as pissed as anybody else at those drops, but calling Corey a "sub-JAG" is utterly retarded. He's our only receiver who can get consistently open. The drops are a mental issue that I'm confident will not linger into the season. Once we see what happens then, then you can say "I told you so." Boykin has shown much worse drop issues in the regular season when it matter than Brown has, and he can't get open. There's a reason he hasn't gotten many snaps with the 1s.

You gotta be related to Corey brown..

At this point you HAVE to try other options. That was just awful. There's no reason not to try Boykin or Byrd with the 1st to at least just see what they can do.

The 1st team won't play again until the season starts, so Boykin and Byrd will have to try to win a roster spot playing with the 4th stringers next week. As usual Rivera and co. snoozed and loozed.

Fua, Bell, Nakamura, Cason, DeCoud, Avant, Armanti Edwards, Godfrey, Gamble, Sherod Martin, Legedu Naane, Kealoha Pilares, Josh Thomas, Joe Adams, Nate Chandler, Silatolu, Kugbila, Kenjon Barner, Robert Lester, Melvin White, Brandon Williams, and Chris Scott.

Rivera has a history with riding through most of the season before making the change, and it will happen again. He loves a non-impact veteran over a game breaking rookie. I am ready for the bumpy ride, the poor coaching decisions early in the season, a lack of belief in his players to win a game, and a blind faith in veterans who have no drive. Rivera is the epitome of  the definition for insanity as state by Albert Einstein.

"Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."

If a player cannot be consistently positive with their plays in limited action while showing the ability to make a big play, just cut them and go next man up. Fill the roster with people who have the belief and desire to play well while never giving ground. A Remmers, Norwell, Glanton, Lucas, Teddy Williams, Byndom, Wegher, Bersin, Boykin, Cole, and Rakim Cox are the players to invest in as depth with a chance at putting their game breaking ability to the test when called upon to start. You can keep finding these type of players who are hungry everywhere. It is the players who are comfortable and lack flashes of greatness that need to be tossed away quickly. They are not worth the time investment.
