Can we once and for all retire the name "Philly"?

Font

A font is a specific typeface of a certain size and style. For example, one font may be Arial 12 pt bold, while another font may be Times New Roman 14 pt italic. Most word processing programs have a Font menu that allows you to choose the typeface, size, and style of the text. In order to use a font, you must have it installed on your computer. Windows provides access to fonts using the Fonts control panel. The Mac OS stores fonts in a Fonts folder and includes a separate "Font Book" application for managing fonts.

Thank you, and I'll stand corrected on this one. In web design (and word processing for that matter) we always define and handle those separately (size and style). This definition is just lumping them both together, so we can go with it. :)

Better yet, can we once and for all retire the dumbass caring about other people preferring to call him Philly?

It's his fuging nickname.  His middle name is Phillip and he's from Philadelphia, home of the Philly Cheesesteak.  His twitter handle is phillybrown, he introduced himself as Philly, the coaches and teammates call him Philly.

One blown out of proportion comment in passing that he said one time months ago to the media, who are supposed to be professional anyways, doesn't mean "OMG guys he hates the name Philly!  We shouldn't call him that!" you sensitive PC mother fugers.

This has to be the most annoying thing that's constantly brought up on this forum.

kids these days...don't know that there was such a thing as typesetting with actual metal letters before the digital world. eg, did you know that leading is pronounced 'ledding' and not 'leeding' because it refers to thin pieces of lead used as spacers.

It actually does not bother him to be called Philly, he has said it countless times. I think the problem was that people thought that was his real name instead of Corey. We called him  a Philly while he was at OSU and the commentators will call him Corey "Philly" Brown. Someone should just ask him flat out hates the name which I doubt he does. #phillybrown10.

Here's what my brain came up with to explain why I'll never call him Corey.

I was too young to remember the first installment of the Rambo film series.  I always knew the movie as Rambo as most do.

It would be like me asking you if you've seen Rambo? You reply which one? I say the 1st one and then you get all douchey and say,

"Actually, the first installment is entitled First Blood."

yeah
