This Jarrett Boykin highlight vid makes me feel good..

I had to stop watching this highlight. Makes me wish we had what I'm seeing

He played alright in one game vs. 3rd string. I'm remembering his horrible practices in spring and training camp. I didn't see him show up dieing the goat preseason game much either. Just not sure where all the love is coming from. 

It may be the fact that with KB gone, everyone wants to find something to cling to for hope. 

The spring practices where he was just beginning to learn a new offense, with a new QB?

I saw him make some good catches at opening day and fan fest. It's not like he screamed amazing or anything, but he wasn't bad either. We have to place hope in someone. If none of our receivers are capable to produce at least 800 yards and around 8 TDs we are screwed. Boykin put up almost 700 and 3 TDs in 11 games. That's pretty respectable. Someone has to step up. No matter how much our coaches want it, it's not going to be Bersin, Cotch, or Tolbert (LOL). I just don't see it with Philly. It's like he's scared to catch with his hands. He just doesn't look comfortable out there. Boykin seems to have confidence. He knows how to use his size and can make people miss even with mediocre speed. He looks sure-handed and seems to be cool, calm, and collected out there.

Lot of people said he wouldnt make the team but I thought he was a great signing. I hope he gets plenty of field time.

Really liked the catch at 1:58, vs Dallas. Secured the catch then turned upfield.....

Asked the handful of Packers fans I know, first they said he's a good pickup, solid player.. Said he should really help after KB went down, and wanted him back following Jordy's injury.....

I thought he was an interesting pick up. My initial thought was he was a special team pick up. But then there his 2011 season that makes me start dreaming a little.

Well, NFLN thinks he will be a great replacement for Jordy Nelson. 

 

I like Boykin, and expect him to help immensely in filling the hole left by KB's injury.

Majority of his rec came from Flynn and Tolzon. Rodgers was hurt.

I actually think Boykin could be our #2 by year's end.

 

Granted, I only think that's going to be about 500 yards, but that would be huge for a guy many were unsure would even make the team.

He wasn't playing against 3rd string last year either when he put up 23 yards.
