Proven player, not a huge amount of guaranteed money and if Brooks can contribute, then limits wear and tear and lowers risk of injury, so we can get the best out of him. Compared to all the other contracts we've done here and others across the league recently, this seems more of the routine run-of-the-mill variety. -
Maybe we're getting back to keep pounding football a la Stephen Davis and Foster or D'Angelo and Stewart. One of the most fun games I ever went to was Williams and Stewart running all over and thru the bucs in like 08 -
That part is true and we know this because two of them were here. And the guy we hired has a record with those types. Vets. It should be a consideration. edit: not just him, or specifically him. Any and all who fit the description should be considered.
