Does Charles Tillman have a chance at Comeback Player of the Year?

Over the past two seasons, Charles "Peanut" Tillman has played in only 10 games.  He tore his triceps muscle both times. If he plays the whole year and is anywhere close to regaining his previous form, does he have a chance?  There are some solid candidates this year for the award: Eric Berry, Sam Bradford, and Navorro Bowman to name a few.

I think he has a shot.

I think people also need to be prepared that until he shows something he might be more name/coach than player.  The only actual action we have seen from him he appeared to be what the opponent targeted on our D.

I feel like Peterson is going to just go crazy again this year and break the record and get MVP and Comeback Player.

If they have any decent alternative candidate, I can't see AP winning it due to the whole PR thing around his child abuse case.  The NFL really doesn't want to rehash that while they hand him a coveted award.

The NFL wouldn't have a choice, they don't choose the winners. If Peterson breaks the record you couldn't justify not giving him MVP and Comeback Player. Unless another player demolishes some other record(s), but I don't see that happening.

NFL could easily saying coming back from being suspended for a year doesn't qualify you.  It has always been very vague about what "comeback" means.
