Shaq

I don't know he fired off on a runner the other night looked like Luke firing thru the line and tackling the runner. either way hes better hes better then Klein and should be our 3rd LB on the field.

yeah...he's a master at avoiding blockers and getting to the ball. That's a great trait to have, especially because that seems to be one of his intangible gifts. He's a ball hawk with great vision.

I also want to add how fast our secondary has come in 2 years.

We were signing scrubs off the street (some of whom were gettlemagic) a few years ago, now with Norman, Shaq, Bene, Tillman, Boston and companywe have one of the best secondaries in the league. Shaq will be a big part of this as we saw on his endzone plays against Miami.

He will have lots of versatility, dropping back into pass coverage unexpectedly (without bringing different personnel) and generate Turnovers for our offense.

I'm not sure we know how fast our secondary is....if Peanut and Harper get matched on one side?

We still don't know what we have in Peanut to be honest.  Harper is still scary out there IMO

In thinking about Shaq an how he's a bit of a tweener, I'm reminded of something Jalen Rose said about basketball (hear me out), don't know if it is as applicable to football but it goes like this. Positions are arbitrary.  They are just made up to describe a certain type of play or responsibility, but the play comes first. What really matters who can play and who can succeed taking on the most responsibility/the responsibilities the team needs.

So is Shaq a Will or a Sam or safety? What are we supposed to do with someone who doesn't have "prototypical size"? I kind of don't care. The kid can play and will make plays for us. He had a solid game against Miami and I'm excited to see what else he can do.
