You can see there were many instances Cam could have took off for a big gain. He's not going to risk that in pre season.

There isn't really any planning in the week for specific opponents. There isn't much film watching, if any. What do you expect? Him to go out there and light it up? We're running plays for game reps, not to necessarily move the ball. It's preseason. They're glorified practices. Calm down.

The gang mentality of these huddlers can be unreal. It's like some of these guys don't have a real life so they prey on anyone who posts something they don't like. Sounds like you got a decent head on your shoulders... unlike a lot of these haters.

I think to start we should come out running the read option and play action and get the ball moving a little because the first two series almost always result in a punt 

that being said we aren't going to do that kind of stuff until the regular season starts

anderson's game translates better to the preseason in general so it makes sense that he'd look good.  he's mostly going against second/third stringers in zone coverage with minimal blitzing and stunting so it's easy for him to play pitch and catch.  he's been in the league forever and knows how to pick those looks apart.

You  know a decent O coordinator might start the game with plays that Cam is best at. Start a game with a throw once a decade. Simple screens or an end around. One of the problems with "Cam" starting slow is it seems every series in the 1st half gets to 3 and long 75% of the time. Run, run, 3rd and long is not a recipe for Cam starting quickly.
