is NFL Rewind worth a subscription?

for various reasons i'd like to be able to watch games i've already watched throughout the course of the season. NFL Rewind appears to be currently listed at 29.99 for panthers games all season, and 39.99 for all league games all season long.

does anyone have experience with it? is it worth the subscription? can you cycle through multiple camera views of the game, or is it just from the public broadcast? any interesting features or hang-ups i should know about?

i will be watching panthers games with it, so this is panthers related :-)

I think you get the all 22 look that is great for seeing guys fug ups in full force, but Im not entirely sure. Think Im going to get it this year because of a new job that might require me to miss some games. Ill still have my fun, just wont be able to go on the phone or listen to the radio when I drive home.

I got it just after last year and I think it's definitely worth it. It's how I've been watching the preseason games so that's worth it alone, but for the regular season games you get the All-22 angles (coaches film) and all the plays so you can navigate through games extremely easily.

Yes. 100%. Great if you like going back and seeing individual performances and see what went right/wrong on each play. Basically a way to dissect the games at your leisure. Much better than just the tv angles that only follow the ball. This gives you a better glimpse of the whole field and allows you to see what everyone is doing.

Link to the $29.99 deal? All I see is $99 with free 7 day trial

I have some experience with it. Game Rewind is actually gone. Starting this year, it's GamePass, and there's only one price: $100. So if you are really only interested in watching Panthers games, it may not be worth it. To justify the price increase, they added radio feeds to the package, which had been a separate thing in the past, and also put a bunch of episodes of Hard Knocks, A Football Life, Sound FX, America's Game, and lots of Super Bowls - even older ones. They have Super Bowls III, VII, and XIII for example.

The morning after games, there are condensed games available, so if you don't want to spend 2 hours watching the full broadcast tape, that's really nice. FYI, the full broadcasts do have commercials, but it's limited to just the first 10 seconds or so of the first one from each commercial break, and there's a button that lets you skip 10 seconds ahead, so you can effectively skip commercials). One of my favorite features are the condensed games. They let you relive moments of Panthers glory as they happened, and it only takes about 30 minutes to watch them all the way through.

I also like the All-22 coaches film option (this feature is not available for preseason games). If you know something about football, it's a good way to make your own judgments about certain players, or what happened on a given play. I don't know when coaches film becomes available after games, but it's probably around the same time as the condensed games.

Another cool thing is that you can jump around between specific plays when you're watching the full broadcast or the all-22 film. You can watch a play from the middle of the first quarter, and then 2 seconds later be watching a play from the beginning of the 4th. Etc.

As for your other questions, only the all-22 coaches film and public broadcast camera angles are available.

The main drawback is that it's mainly an on-demand service, and it's not available at all while there are any sort of regular season games on TV. So you can't watch a 1 PM Panthers game while the 4 PM games are on, or during SNF or MNF. I think that covers everything important. Hope that helps.

The best thing to do is get a VPN so it looks like you're in a different country. You can get gamepass for a decent price depending on what country you're looking at and you get every game live to your computer. You also get every archived game going back to 2009 with broadcast, condensed, All-22, and endzone views. I highly recommend it if you don't have a way to watch panthers games.

    • I'd give it a C mainly because of Brooks.  If we just didn't have a 2nd I'd argue B to B+ tbh. Brooks was a bad gamble, tho one that could still pay off long term. Yes XL only has 400 yards but... Look who is throwing him the ball. And I think he isn't a "true #1" but he's been able to consistently get open. Hands definitely need to be cleaned up.  But he should end the year with 500-600 yards. Like you said - Sanders looks great.  Get him a better QB / more time with a QB and I think he's gonna impress. We added a couple rotational players on D that have both made plays and show promise for the future from later rounds. So I'd say, Brooks really hurts this drafts grade. It'll be interesting to see how it progresses over the next 3 years. I've overall really liked Morgan's FA acquisitions, so...
    • Oh he would absolutely flourish. It’s the panthers way. It’s no different with coaches. Sometimes they reach their expiration date, go somewhere else, and find new success.  Similarly to Burns, how long to wait for the light to finally turn on?  Market forces will demand a salary that the panthers can not responsibly match. Sliding him to guard will fit his skill set better, but he has played LT for 3 years. He will receive offers from other teams wanting to pay him LT money.  At guard, he won’t start with what they have paid Hunt and Lewis. Center then?? Dunno. Maybe? He will become a backup by default once they draft their stud LT. I doubt Dan just stands pat. That’s not his MO.  So where does this put him? Can you match what other teams will offer for a backup LT/guard? Do you dish out franchise LT $ on a guy who still needs significant improvement in pass protection. This team will be DOA in the playoffs with the very first team who has a formidable speed rusher. What if he has hit his ceiling in pass protection already and they sign him long term? It’s a big gamble either way.
    • We're in a great position to see just how big of a misstep it would be, having made so many ourselves
