Randy Moss making a comeback

LUUUUUKE

You don't think teams would see that coming?

I assume you mean the red zone part.

If team's are having to see something coming, they are having to scheme to stop it. That's a good thing. We need guys other teams have to scheme against. We don't have those guys at WR now.

That said, I see about a 2% chance of Moss actually being a Panther.

Yeah, but it helps us run the red zone offense we were going to run with KB. He, funchess, and Olsen staying out there like trees

I get what you mean, but even at his best Moss was always more of a deep threat than a red zone guy. If he beat someone, it was likely because he outran em, not outfought em.

Well he supposedly beat Antonio Brown in a race this offseason, so he still has some speed.  The dude was unnaturally fast in his prime, so even losing a lot of speed he's probably still got plenty to spare.  His speed was always based more on his ridiculously long legs and strides rather than simply churning his legs really fast.  Watch some highlights of his, literally looks like he's jogging as he just burns everyone.

That said though, like Mr. Scot said, how long can he keep that up at 38 years old after being retired for so long?  That's the biggest thing.  There's also the fact he was always notorious for taking plays off even in his younger days, it'll likely be a lot worse nowadays unless he's only used for a small handful of snaps per game or something.

You've forgotten about the term mossed? Moss was known for fighting people for the ball
