Randy Moss making a comeback

LUUUUUKE

Moss has always been unfairly lumped in with guys Smitty and Owens but I don't think he's a locker room disruption to that degree, at least not any longer. Keep in mind that you have to be as straight laced as can be to play under Belicheck for four years. Even the mooning thing he claims was a response to GB fans doing it to their team bus at every Lambeau game.

Like Cotch I doubt his play would make much of an impact but Moss is the Michael Jordan of WRs to these young guys. They'd hang on to his every word.

not a locker room issue...

more of a...are you just gonna put in the effort today running the 5 routes hard you think you are getting the ball and phone in every other snap type issue.  I'm sure with his age that wouldn't improve

I love the lot of you that would laugh off Moss coming here. News flash children, 38 year old moss would be our #1 WR the moment his feet touched the practice. I don't care how many steps he has lost over the year. the guy is 6 foot 4 and has some of the best hands ever. plus his ability to get a jump ball is still probably better than anyone of our receivers. If moss signed for the panthers my anticipation for the season would almost be where it was a week ago.

@MoveTheSticks: Randy Moss hinted at a comeback on the pregame show. He'd help Carolina.

Posted this tweet last night but Daniel Jeremiah is one of the few guys I like. I think Gettleman's ego is too big to sign a guy like Moss. Gettleman still has that former scout mentality that he can find these diamonds in the rough that no one else can (small school guys). Sure at times it's great but at others it can be a downfall. If it's true that he's been working out and that he looks good why in the world wouldn't you atleast bring him in for a workout? Have you seen the sh*t we line up out wide?

Moss is just fishing to see if anyone is dumb enough to give him a free check.

why would he do that?  The check anyone writes him will not be a big one, not too mention he already has a job as a pre-game announcer. Moss wants to win a super-bowl this year plain and simple, I want guys like that on our team. Gettleman's scouting philosophy will never allow this signing to happen. It sucks knowing there is actually a person in our city who could make our team better, but our GM wont even entertain the option. Bottom line is I'd rather have Moss on the Panthers than any other WR we have besides Funchess and Ginn.

his weekly check would still be a good one.  Starting WR money for a desperate team?

Moss isn't viewed as the extra piece to finally have a championship level team.

Moss was IMO specifically fishing for one team just to see.  The one in his backyard.

He's 38 and been out of football for 3 years.  Didn't look particularly good the last 3 seasons he played either.

No thanks.

Hey, ya never know. We might actually get as much as two, maybe even three good games out of him.

Wait...How long is the season again?
