Official Panthers - Dolphins GameDay Thread

Jesus Christ dude, stop while you're ahead.  The difference between the offense playing badly this preseason and defense is the defense has a track record of being a dominating and good unit and we're missing 3/4 of our D-line.  Sean Mcdermmott has the skins on the wall, Shula on the other hand just has the wall.

OK, I'm convinced...fire Shula!!!! I feel like a smart productive fan now.

I love Toldozer but I'm starting to think Todman, CAP, and Wegher may have earned spots over him.  I know Ron won't cut Toldozer though.

Tolbert has not looked good since 2013. He used to carry/truck someone for 2 yards, now he is getting tackled by DBs.

Yeah, in my next post I listed the same scenario.  I appreciate Brockel, but I don't see his value at this point  I feel he has held a roster spot over more talented guys the last two seasons now.

And Tolbert is a great guy, but I don't think he is what he once was anymore.  Plus, Ward, Todman, and Wegher are all more versatile.

I just don't see Ron cutting Tolbert though.

I have given up understanding how the NFL cap really works, but could there be a cap savings with cutting Tolbert?  The reason I ask is that G-man could possibly force the situation if there is a real savings in the deal for the panthers if the talent difference is negligible.

Cutting Mike Tolbert saves $2,425,000 on the 2015 cap.
