Well if I feel after my training that it's too much work for so little pay I'll bring it up. I also need to see how much they're paying me after my training is up. The guy said I would be getting a raise once my training was complete.

Writing son, get it in writing.

In that area of the country, I just don't think that you are getting paid well enough.  Take the raise, do your work, but keep on looking man, these folks may still think it's 2011.

If the side job is your passion then cool. Im big fan  of what i call  anchor work. You need  something steady and  if it gives yo flexibility and low stress keep  it going .

Exactly, nice steady pay, insurance and gives me the flexibility to do what I want.
