So I took my girlfriend's daughter to a bookstore today, and while she's looking at the latest teen fiction, I notice a book written by Rick Springfield.

Yes, that Rick Springfield.  Jessie's Girl, General Hospital, etc.

So I say out loud, "Wow, a book by Rick Springfield."

And she responds, "I have no idea who that is."

I feel old :(
