When he first got the gig, I kinda liked him.  But in the last 6 months to a year, my goodness has he become awful.  Not knowing positions, dumb ass tweets, obvious takes and answers.  As usual, ESPN doing big things.

Well, in fairness, the "obvious takes and answers" thing is pretty universal.  All of these guys are reporting basically the same things every day.   That's just the nature of the business, especially camp.

On an off note, that's why I start threads a lot of times that are a little different.

He has become a troll and is horrible at analyzing football. He should be shipped back to NASCAR where he came from.

I don't get the David Newton hate.  He certainly isn't as in tune to the team or has a Bill Voth or Jonathan Jones, but he's not bad to be an ESPN guy.  Newton is generally pretty optimistic on the Panthers.  However, he gets a pay check from the 4 Letter Abomination, so he has to keep them happy, and unfortunately, some of that is going along with the narratives the higher ups want him to portray.

I do and have done plenty of things to keep employers happy over the years that I may not have totally agreed with.
