Vasectomy

just saw this. i'm just going to say milk it for the next month or two.

and by that i mean milk the attention from the wife. the discomfort is real, but let the wife know it. don't play tough. let her baby you and take full advantage of the fact that you are supposed to have a lot of teh sex AFTER THE FIRST WEEK! this first week, though, you don't have anything to prove. just take it easy.

of course milk it could very well have another meaning since you have to work all the live boys out of the system.

oh....and keep the ice pack on for couple days. they are really your friend.

I picked a weekend with plenty to watch on TV.  Think it was Masters weekend or March Madness, one or the other.

Very uncomfortable weekend which makes your groin area look like you just survived a 20 car pile up.  Followed by several weeks of regular sex to make sure your pipes are clean.  Note: just keep praying for swimmers to keep showing up on tests.  Nothing better than the doc sending you and the wife home with the prescription of 3 more weeks of daily sex.

Much luck

I'm 24 hours removed from the procedure and have experienced very little pain, I'd characterize it more as a dull discomfort. I've iced continuously and popped pills. I did take a percocet last night to help sleep but really have no complaints right now, other than boredom.

it was kind of an ache for me. really hard to describe. it wasn't a sharp pain like you think it would be. dull discomfort kind of explains it pretty well.

the stitches after the first few days bothered me more than anything and they stayed in for over a week. i was kind of paranoid about them and they kept catching on my underwear. i was always readjusting.

micro surgery typically minimizes the pain!
