How much is to much for Micheal Floyd?

I'd go after him.We better be scrambling right now to bring someone in! But, in typical Panther fashion, we'll probably just roll with what we've got.

Yeah,we never had a consecutive group of offensive weapons....mike Floyd really could be a good fit in carolina better than jc/ginn by themselves

I really don't know how anyone could be against this.

Getting Floyd would allow everyone to stay in their current roles, without having someone to plug into KB's role we're asking everyone to do too much. Cotchery/Bersin combo on the outside is a disaster, as we saw last season. It'd also be nice to ease Funchess into his role and not have him going up against the other teams 1 each week. We don't need Floyd to come in and match KB's production, we need Floyd to attract the attention of the other teams #1 corner and keep our role players in their respective roles.

So you haven't come out and admitted it yet, you keep talking around the edges.

You are IN FAVOR of using a middle-round (4th or 5th) pick to trade for a one-year rental player?

Or, alternatively, you are IN FAVOR of using that same pick for a player that will have to be paid over $7 million next year?

These are things that you, as the GM of a team, would consider wise moves?
