How much is to much for Micheal Floyd?

It's his fifth-year rookie option, all-base and fully guaranteed, the new team would be responsible for the whole thing. Arizona seems to already be having buyer's remorse for exercising the option.

It's guaranteed for injury only. He could be cut by us before the season and there'd be no dead money or cap hit. That's why the Redskins picked up Griffin's option. Gives them the ability to keep him if he proves worthy this year, but if he doesn't they can cut him with no loss or money implications.

I thought he looked above average and had #2 potential when I've seen him healthy and playing.  I'd give a 5th, possibly a 4th, and we wouldn't miss it as those would likely go on a foreign o-lineman playing at Midwestern Southeastern Alaska State Agricultural and Technical Community College.

A 4 or 5 for a young guy with some tread on his tires would a great deal. Floyd can be productive and this to me is the lesser of 2 evils(bring in random old guy or cast off). Those "not interested" need get off their high horse. The answer is not always on the team like we thought with byron bell...Not like our offense was on fire last year with KB and saying were ok is lying to ourselves....

So some of you want to give up a 3rd-5th round draft choice for a one-year rental for an utterly average receiver?

I can smell the panic from here.

So I don't like the panic around here, but just so I understand, we shouldn't kick the tires on a guy that averaged 18 ypc last year with Ryan Lindley throwing him the ball?

You want to give up a mid-round pick for a one year rental of a guy who hasn't shown much in the league in his first 3 years (13 career TDs in 3 years)?

As a GM, you'd make that trade?
