If you own a house in Ballantyne area

News flash: apartments have been exploding everywhere in Charlotte. There are three new complexes going up near my house and 5 going up within walking distance of my work.

Ballantyne is not everywhere.  It's the richest area in Charlotte and they did a good job to keep apartment buildings from exploding (they have luxury town homes).  Both you and I live in similar areas and apartment complexes are common here.

I've been in Ballantyne for 14 years now.  Once they decided to build that Elevation mega church in my back yard I decided it was time to get out.  The worst part is that my place is not really worth anymore now than when I bought it.  I bet once I sell everything will finally start to take off.

I don't think it will... Andrey Kell is the most overcrowded school in the state of North Carolina and roads are not there to support the traffic.  It seems many people are trying to move to Ballentyne that's why they will start building apartments.  I know quiet few executives who are getting out of Ballentyne area.  I think Ballentyne will lose some of its value in next 5 years.
