FWIW: Mort Says Keep An Ear Out For Reggie Wayne

Randy Moss?  Lol the fug?

Randy was done 5 years ago.  Already retired twice, and didn't look so hot his last season... which was 3 fuging years ago...

Hell to the no on a 38 1/2 year old WR that's been out of football for 3 years.  His ridiculous speed combined with his size and athleticism is what made him so dangerous.  He's lost 2 of those 3.

Yeah, that's why I've been asking for the position to be addressed...  And the Colts have made those same moves for the last few seasons to provide ample talent and competition at their QBs disposal.

But, anytime I brought up a guy like Johnson, Nicks, or Moore, it was usually met with the same condescending laugh and accusations that I think I know more than our front office executives.  No, I just simply believe the more you address a position of weakness with guys who at some point have shown football talent and have natural athletic ability, the better your team will be for it from top to bottom.  Everyone of those guys I mentioned are automatically our #1 with KB injured.

But I agree, what's done is done...   I just wish we would give Cam a chance at some point.  Yes, our defense wins games, but if you can't score because your QB has so few weapons (and an idiot OC calling games from his time machine), your offense can certainly lose them for you.

We need to get our own Victor Cruz also  the Run game could replace KB's production.

Greg Olsen: 1200 Yds

Funch: 1,000 Yds

Ginn: 700 Yds

 Brown: 700 Yds

Stewart: 1200+yds with 4.9 Yd/att  8 TDs

Cam Newton: 700+yds 5 TDs he will have to use his leg more to extend drives and ope up the offense. Also is fully healthy and upgraded OL.

CAP/ Toddman / Fozzy: 500 yds

Tolbert: 8 Tds   ( 7 TDs in 2013)

Those saying they're happy with what we have... how?

Here is the stats for our WRs last season in the NFL:

Funchess - N/A

Cotchery - 580 yards, 1 TD

Ginn - 277 yards, 1 TD

Brown - 296 yards, 2 TDs

Bersin - 151 yards, 1 TD

Boykin - 23 yards, 0 TDs

What in the hell about any of that makes anyone feel comfortable???

So...

As long as Olsen, Ginn, and Stew have career years and Brown more than doubles his production AND Funchess has a GREAT rookie season, we'll be fine?

You unknowingly just made a great case for why we're fuged.

I based those number on production  from our players from 2013 & 2014 so yes its possible and it will happen. Just go look up the stats bro

I would be willing to bet everything I have and all I can borrow that those stats won't happen.  Not all of them.  Not even close.

Stats don't happen in a vacuum.  You're asking all of those vets to produce more than they ever have before and a rookie to have a season that might put him in the OROY race while we're missing our #1 threat.

Sorry man, it's not gonna happen.  It's just not realistic.
