Worse than a sprain doesn't make any sense. Grade 3 sprain normally comes with 8-12 month recovery and reconstructive surgery. What could be worse than that?

Tears are sprains.  Just a more forceful way of calling it.

I'm expecting the footage of the injury to be analyzed like the fuging Zapruder film if they take much longer with the results. His knee went back and to the left.. back and to the left... BACK and to the LEFT!

Ironically, his description of how an ACL injury occurs perfectly describes how I tore my MCL.  It was a twisting motion where my upper and lower leg moved in opposite direction.  Result?  Torn MCL and slightly torn meniscus that was deemed small enough to not require surgery.  Hurt like hell, but recovery was surprisingly quick.
