Worse than a sprain doesn't make any sense. Grade 3 sprain normally comes with 8-12 month recovery and reconstructive surgery. What could be worse than that?

Torn meniscus and out for the season makes no sense whatsoever.  He'd have a chance to be back by the regular season opener if it was just a torn meniscus.  That can be taken care of through arthroscopic surgery.

He may have a torn meniscus, but if he's missing the season it's because it's accompanied by a torn ACL.  

I'd be onboard with giving Batman a vacation for that one.

I read that Cam was talking about the kind of player  KB was as opposed to Funchess and then said Funchess would now have to step up, so that sounded like the WR corps was in for a transition

sending him for a MRI is basically just fact checking what the team already knows.  If he blew his ACL Carolina knows and doesn't need the MRI...that is just a technicality. 

If be shocked if it wasn't torn at this point.  Players commenting after it happened didn't even seem optimistic

I've had a torn meniscus in both knees. No way he's done for the year if its just that. He would almost be ready for week one if this was the case.

Being out for for torn meniscus all depends on how severe it is.  MRI will reveal all I guess
