How do you feel about DT now?

I feel that if we do not bring in a vet..then the first couple of games might be ugly..these new guys not only have to learn the entire playbook but also..learn tech for the 4-3..and who knows how long that will take...i still think we will get buy good.

All of them have 4-3 experience in the NFL, the rookie had experience in the 4-3 in college and was projected there. It's not going to take very long for them to pick up the D.

For what it's worth, I feel that there is much more breathing room at DT than there is in the secondary.

Nothing has changed for me yet. I think Hayden shouldn't be on the roster and that we need a true starter.

leonard only has like a month..of NFL 4-3 experience..and Harris has no 4-3 experience in the NFL..yea he played in college in a 4-3..but only started one year plus there is still techniquies diff he will have to learn..he will have to wash all the 3-4 stuff out..that and learing the playbook will take time..

Hayden's better than you all think. After getting killed against the Giants and phins, he really improved against the Ravens and Steelers. The Panthers also didn't scheme at all against any team in preseason, and that's going to make a difference in how the line looks.

I think that Meeks' experience in Indy has prepared him to work well with players like Hayden and Lewis, and we should be ok there. They won't stuff the run, but they'll redirect it and let the linebackers make the plays.

Our line will be fine. It's the secondary I'm worried about.

I don't see why people keep saying this about Hayden. So because he came up with one good play against the Steelers, that means that he "really improved"?

I think we're going to just have to wait and see here. Maybe an actual game plan we practice might be of assistance... Don't know whats happened in the preseason, but if thats the case, I don't feel too hot.

But then again, the preseason is just practice with a score so we'll see what happens the first quarter of the season.

I don't think we saw the D in preseason. I believe that Meeks has more, and that we night all be surprised. In fact, I bet that Meeks moves Pep around a lot more than Trgo did. This D might surprise a few people.

i think the DT are soft as baby sh*t..this is no way that a player some other team cut its going to be good enough to make the interior line even decent....and we are lucky cause philly is not going to test us

I am not sure if a week will tell us anything. Philly isn't really a running team. And if Beason and Davis are still out, then the defense might look bad regardless of how the DT's play. Dallas and Atlanta will really tell the story for our defensive line.
