So, here's a little snippet of ESPN commentary from the 1st half of the Miami - Atlanta game.  Miami leads 7-6 (it was 7 - 3 until a Atl FG just seconds before halftime).

Makes our OL sound good... , not really a surprise, but still good to hear that Atlanta is weak in this area.

My biggest takeaway from the first half of the Falcons-Dolphins preseason game is that the Falcons' offensive line still has a lot of work to do. The line gave up too much pressure and allowed starting QB Matt Ryan to be sacked three times in four drives. Center Joe Hawley was not in the game as the Falcons let Mike Person get first team work. Hawley was missed. And promising left guard James Stone took a significant step back. Give the Dolphins and Ndamukong Suh credit for being dominant up front.

Seahawks look like crap again.  Blown away on both sides of the ball, particularly their OL.  Chargers at one point had 10 first downs to one and currently have 120 more yards and twice the TOP.  Seahawks still lead in the 3rd as Tyler Lockett returned a punt for a TD.

Chip Kelly the smartest coach in the league?

Bradford 10/10 3 tds

looks like the "ego maniac" knows what he's doing. Completely shocked by this /sarcasm.

I watched the 2nd qtr of that game. Question: even if Eagles are at the line but they are also substituting players, aren't the refs supposed to stop the clock & give the defense time to sub if they want to? I'm confused over that.

Julio joins the big time

Falcons signed WR Julio Jones to a five-year, $71.25 million contract extension through 2020.

Jones gets $47 million guaranteed. His new $14.25 million in average annual salary puts Jones slightly ahead of both Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas...

I hate to see Julio in ATL, but I am glad to see Atlanda wrapping up all of their salary cap in skill players and not the trenches.

If their O line is truly as bad as they have looked this pre-season, they aren't going to have enough time to get the ball to anyone.  Big men help you compete...
