And then there's this:

NFL investigating Steelers TE Coach for assaulting a Patriots fan

Now granted, we've all had the urge...

I'm not sure why he would be irritated:

The broadcast was so loud that the Steelers coaches were unable to communicate, and the NFL rule is that if one team’s headsets are not working the other team is supposed to be forced to take their headsets off. It’s what the NFL calls the Equity Rule. Strangely enough, whenever an NFL representative proceeded to the New England sideline to shut down their headsets, the Steelers headsets cleared. Then as the representative walked away from the New England sideline, the Steelers’ headsets again started to receive the Patriots game broadcast.

'Issues' aside, if he can stay on the field Oakland will have a good defense.

Oakland is an old school favorite team of mine pre-Carolina days, and I am happy to see them getting better. That team has had issues for decades.

They've had one primary "issue" honestly.

Now they have his son.

An AFC pro director told NFL Network's Albert Breer that Peyton Manning's arm strength looks "significantly diminished."

An NFC exe said Manning looked "immobile" in the pocket during the preseason and "flinches under pocket pressure." Manning struggled in August, fluttering passes across the middle of the field and underthrowing receivers down the sideline. Manning has the football intelligence to overcome physical limitations, but his collapse down the stretch last year mixed with his underwhelming preseason raise legitimate concerns about his ability to hang with the other elite fantasy quarterbacks.

I have no love for the Broncos, but I'd hate to see Manning end his career by being benched in favor of Osweiler or Trevor Siemian.

Disrespectful. There's just no other way to say it.

Jeff Darlington @JeffDarlington
As difficult as it might be to digest, RG3 was running as the scout team SAFETY at times this week. My report: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000528651/article/redskins-qb-rgiii-running-with-scout-team-defense-at-safety
