NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a nightclub altercation that allegedly involved New Orleans Saints defensive endCameron Jordan this past weekend, a NOPD spokesman confirmed. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.

New Orleans Saints safety Jairus Byrd is expected to return to the lineup around Week 2 or 3, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder.

Byrd missed all of training camp because of swelling in his knee, according to Werder.

According to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports, the incident at a nightclub escalated when Jordan swatted a woman on the rear and sprayed champagne on her and her boyfriend.

When the boyfriend approached Jordan to complain of the alleged disrespect, Jordan replied: “I can have any b—- I want.”

Jordan then allegedly picked the man up and held him up in the air while other patrons of the bar took photos.
