Defensive end rotation.....pass rush weak sauce

It appears that our DE combination is not what  we where all hoping for. R.R made it quite clear during camp that no one was standing out to take the starting job. Ealy looks lost and Alexander is nothing special. Horton lacks pass rushing skills. Addison is the only guy that has shown speed and ability to get to the QB, but is lacking in stopping the run and sealing the edge.

Without C.J on the other end, these guys are average or below average at best. Maybe a little K.K in the mix would help. He has proven to be a beast when rotated in as DE on occasion.  Hopefully Star will heal and be back strong. That leaves either Cole or Edwards to do the job if they need to move K.K around and fill the void at DE. I know it's only the first preseason game, but taking the camp and this as a whole.....not impressed

As teams game plan for Star and Short in the middle, the job of the DEs will get much easier.

Yeah the DL, like the OL, is only as strong as its weakest link. Adding stronger, better players at DT should improve overall play of both RDE and LDE. I'm reserving judgment for now. Hopefully the third game we get to see Star and KK for a few downs and get a taste.

The DE Cox who came in towards the end showed he had a motor on him, even though it was against backups I'd be interested to see more of him

Did Cordy Glenn play last night at left tackle? If so, that could explain things. Dude is a stud tackle.

If it makes anyone feel better about Ealy, Justin Britt who some felt would have been a better choice in hindsight, looked like complete @$$ for the Seahawks.  It was olly olly oxen free for the Denver DL in total domination over the Seahawks.

Ealy has all the measurablea Hardy has. Maybe less athletic, but  he'll come around. Everyone here seems to forget that it took Hardy 3 seasons before he put it all together
