I like Corey a lot.  If he can round out his game just a bit hes got more ability than he gets credit for.

I think Corey gets as much credit as Bersin gets crap.

I think Corey can be a better slot WR than Ginn as a more reliable WR, but Ginn stretches the field more than Corey.

Corey is going to be just fine, and he's going to earn a spot on the team.

 I was excited about that play, regardless of the throw he got behind the D and was open, which is the key. So close, but still a good job by him.

I think if anyone were actually talking to Corey they wouldn't refer to him as Philly, even though Philly is cooler. :)

I agree though, he did a good job of getting behind the defense. Catching the ball away from his body is something he has and will continue to improve on I believe.

Personally, I think Philly is going to see the field less.  For all the OTA hype around him, he's just been okay in training camp.  KB, Funch, Ginn and even Bersin seem to have more of a rapport with Cam.  I'm not seeing much of a different Philly than from last year.  I know it's early, but the WR's listed above are all improvements over last year (including Bersin). Philly will be on the field but his opportunities will be limited this year.

Well if he just said he prefers Corey it doesn't mean he dislikes Philly.  A lot of people with nicknames do prefer their real name being used... doesn't mean they dislike or hate a nickname.  Especially in you media guy's cases, I'm sure he'd like to keep it professional and have you all use his real name in your articles/reports/etc.

He goes by Philly all over social media, his middle name is Phillip and he's from Philadelphia.  The name Philly is pretty much inescapable in his case.

Sorry, but waaay too big a deal has been made about that on here.

It was exciting in general seeing Cam taking deep shots last night. Having Corey Brown and Ginn gives Cam 2 legit deep threats.

This is going to put a lot more pressure on the front seven to account for Cam in the running game since teams won't be walking a safety into the box all the time like they were last year

I get that J and respect that ... But  here, do we have to refer to Dave Gettleman as Mr. Gettleman or can we call him Nippleshorts or Gettlemagic? -Same thing with Corey .. We know it's Corey .. Some guys like Philly .. It was how we first knew him and it's cooler .. Who gives a poo?  No offense.

Philly needs to learn to catch the ball away from his body...body catchers don't usually last...especially shorter guys...extend them hands.
