Video game grades and the color of their uniforms. It isn's just the league that is going soft. lol. Next we will have a thread about whether the white uniforms make the players butts look big..............

The league is just taking their cues from the lawyers and the fans. As long as these kind of threads are on a football forum and there are none about Xs & Os or how we matchup against Buffalo by position and scheme, we are turning from football to fashion and reality to fantasy.

imagine a magazine or website that does a systematic review and grades every player in the NFL.  Would you be interested in how the Panthers ranked?  This is no different.  Just because it is associated with a game, doesn't mean people are not interested.

Mayo higher than Glanton who started actual NFL games last year?

People be sleeping on Adarius Glanton. I really hope he shows up in the same form he finished last season because his play at LB really helped us make that run to win the division.

*Norwell should be at least an 80.
*Cotchery should be more around a 72 - Ginn a 75, and Brown a 74.
*Anderson is way too low. Should be at least a 75.
*Tolbert should be around an 85.
*In context of what the ratings value at linebacker (pass rushing), I'm fine with TD being a 90 as long as his coverage and tackle ratings are very high.

Everything else I'm OK with.

Yep. Right there with you. I don't get the appeal of Madden or Fantasy football. The fact there is a site called "Draft Kings" that has absolutely nothing to do with beer makes me weep for this generation.

Professional sports are entertainment, not our army. Enjoy the show or don't watch. 

madden has nothing to do with professional sports. It just allows people,with no athletic ability to think they are playing football by twitching their thumbs. I watch every game and attend the home ones, I just don't waste my time playing video games pretending they mirror reality.

...Byron Bell is rated as a 73OVR, a point higher than Oher. I know it's just Madden, but could we have actually gotten worse at LT?

I'm going to buy madden this year and replace all the starters with 6'5'' players with Italian last names and max all their stats like I did when I was 16

Honestly, not as bad as I thought. IIRC, Benjamin was like a 71 last year before roster updates.
