can't say I am surprised, it's not a true pvp game and very few themeparks ship with good pvp.

It's got open world pvp and battlegrounds. I am hoping they add something competitive/ranked. Then I'll be happy.

part of the problem is I don't think that you can really gauge open world pvp like what they have planned for Ilium or w/e it is with a standard closed beta test, and very few people will get to hte level needed to play around with it in an open test. While you can test those features, they are designed for large numbers of players... and, well, I'm not certain they've really gotten it for sure.

The scenario/warzone/battlegrounds seemed pretty standard from what I did though.

I think for fans of kotor it is going to be a winner. But for casual or hardcore mmoers im not sure how long bioware is going to be able to keep them. I tested and enjoyed it myself but i am a total mmo noob but enjoyed both kotor and kotor 2.

they'll keep casual MMO people, hardcore will depend on endgame for both pvp and pve and I haven't done enough reading to know how that will be beyond "well it's shipping with raids and open world pvp."

truthfully I want competetive pvp options as well. I always wished I could combine wow's arena pvp with war's (or really DAoC's, but...) frontier zones, because I enjoy both types of PvP but I can never get a game with both.

I played a healer, there are going to be a lot of line of sight problems. More than you would see in other games.

Well damn.. I heard there a problems with healing quick enough because you cannot click heal.
