I got to about level 13 and I couldn't do it anymore because I felt myself repeating the same dungeons and I wasn't enjoying it as much. it didn't help that my group of friends got kinda bored with it.

Combat was fun, but honestly, I also felt like levels didn't mean much and came too infrequently. I felt like the hook of MMOs wasn't there, and the quests weren't compelling enough overall for them alone to keep me hooked.

You can't get much farther than 13 without buying content anyway.

I felt it ultimately lacked the endgame required to keep me playing. But as far as repeating the same dungeons, you just described every other MMO out there. DDO has some unique quests, and hardly any of them are alike.

I'm not paying 60$ for anything with a 5 hour playtime and glitched multiplayer.

I'm also not paying 60$ then another 15 a month to do a bunch of kill X amount of mobs quests.

If you can have light saber duels like the Jedi Knight 2 then I'm interested, but the previews make it seem more like a Sims game.

the primary difference is that in DDO, leveling is only through dungeons... so repeating them kinda sucks pre-endgame to me. but I did love the idea behind teh class system, just found each level too boring to keep me engaged.

you pretty much ran out of quests. if you have enough packs you only need to run some 2-3 times each. the better ones you may run 4 or 5 times.

as a TR i had to run just about everything 4 or 5 times. been pretty rough.
