Beta Testing Weekends began last weekend, to get more people than ever before testing Star Wars: The Old Republic. We invited a number of testers in to experience the game this past weekend, and will continue to invite more testers, in greater numbers, as we move towards launch.

While the number of those invited will increase over time and while we plan to invite as many people as possible who are signed up for Game Testing to test, there are no guarantees that everyone who applies will be invited.

It is also important to note that not every weekend going forward will be a Beta Testing Weekend. In September, we're hoping for one more Beta Testing Weekend, which will be larger in invite size than the last.

So looks like only 1 test weekend in september left and even thats not guaranteed.

Usually stress testing, which is what these beta weekends are, is the last stage before release. From what I've heard everything went smooth last weekend so unless they have some serious issues pop up I think it'll come out this year.

Nah it's because at PAX bioware said there would be test weekends and made a huge thing about it.. bioware isn't being straight up with people about what's going on.

Ughhh with all this waiting and waiting the excitement for this game is waning. They can't make it perfect. If they wait till 2012 I think it would be a hugee mistake.

Playing solo do I get put into a random group? What exactly happens?
