Panthers good when it comes to players getting in trouble with the law

Yahoo Sports put out an article displaying arrests on NFL teams for the last five years, and not surprisingly, the Panthers are tied for the second lowest arrests (3). 

Sure, it's all good relatively, but I am quite positive that J-Rich wouldn't mind if his team was at 0. Still, comparatively, three arrests in five years is notable.

Being that I can't remember the two besides Hardy (and am too lazy to look them up), they must not have really mattered in the slightest in regards to game days. Did I just say "Hardy"? That's too bad because notwithstanding his good 2013 season, entertaining personality, shtick, or whatever you want to call it, unfortunately that is going to be his legacy as a Panther. [Damn, Hardy, you not only ensured your ticket out of Charlotte, but you messed us up for that lone second spot.]

Getting back on point, I think that J-Rich is probably semi-proud. It's not by luck that the team is second. Ron Rivera and Dave Gettleman have done a good job of drafting high character guys under the watchful eyes of the Big Cat, and have done an excellent job of imparting to everyone within the organization of their expectations as they pertain to off-field trouble. Let's hope that everyone continues to get the message.
