DJ Humphries Nickname? "Knee Deep"

Massie was the starting right tackle all of last season, so his absence probably moves first-round pick D.J. Humphries into that spot in the starting lineup.

There’s some question, though, about how ready Humphries is. Arizona Coach Bruce Arians told reporters earlier in camp the coaching staff’s nickname for Humphries is “Knee Deep” because that’s how far coaches have to put a foot up his rear to motivate him.

There are more flattering nicknames than “Knee Deep.”
