Instead of showing the workouts they spend three quarters of the time showing the fans then the picture freezes and goes black....waste of time.

Yeah, and when they did actually show a drill, it was about 5 seconds worth before they went to another camera. Very very very annoying.

Would the Packers put out a product like this? I don't think so. They're allowing video cameras in today, so why not stream it online? If Belichick wanted to tape it, he'd find a way so there's no big deal to stream it.

They did say that they were going to stream the pre-practice only.... I'm guessing it's a anti-belichik policy/procedure.

IT's free for anybody who can come to see in person. What's the difference whether they come and film it in person or just catch the live stream? Either way, it won't hurt anything to show the individual drills, at least.

Periscope, new app owned by Twitter.

 

Allows a user to broadcast what they show through their phone camera and anyone with the app can watch live. It's prettty incredible.

There's nothing a team watching a 2 hour fanfest practice would do that won't be exposed in preseason or the slew of practices open to the public that If they wanted, scouts could and probably are at.
