1st FanFest for my son

We decided to skip camp this year and attend Fan Fest instead.  My son just turned 4 and is really getting into sports.  We told him we were going to go to practice to watch the Panthers and he starts screaming about Cam.  

That in itself made me want to cry, but it's what he said next that brought me to my knees.

He said, "Daddy, will I get to see Cam?"

"Of course buddy, all the Panthers will be there.  We can try to get an autograph if ya want."

"Could I give Cam this picture I drew for him?"

That's when my precious boy pulls an 8x10 painting of what he said was the panthers field out of his book bag.

I was/am still in shock.  I think I may have actually done something right as a parent.
