Cotchery called Kelvin Benjamin the "lead dog."

Bryan Strickland @PanthersBryan 3m3 minutes ago

Vet Jerricho Cotchery says WR Kelvin Benjamin is "eager to get it right." He finds it refreshing from a young guy, one he called "top dog."

Steve Reed @SteveReedAP 3m3 minutes ago

Cotchery said there are a lot of teams that Derek Anderson would be a starter on. Anderson was 2-0 last year as a starter

I need to know if this is a direct quote please.  Did he really say Shula will be dealt with?

No.  The "We'll be fine..." is his quote, plus he talked about how they settled too much for field goals.  He did not mention Shula by name if I recall.  That was me adding my comment to his "we'll be fine"

REALLY liking Kurt Coleman:

Black & Blue Review @BlackBlueReview 10m10 minutes ago

Kurt Coleman first one out today.

he has been every practice thus far. plus he is making his presence known on the practice field. i really like this guy to make the 53

Hope he is present and doing something productive.

i was there today. Oher was always with his fellow lineman. he participated in position drills. was not being a slouch on his vet day.

Can we get rid of that fugin fence already, jeez

tweet is misleading. some douchebag knocked over the fence trying to steal the ball KB had just thrown to some kids. unfortunately, he succeeded. i know this because i was right there to watch it. pissed me off big time.

Another tourist attraction in Spartanburg... in addition to #PanthersCamp of course. The Original Krispy Kreme

Objection:  Another example of SC taking credit for NC accomplishments--like Stonewall Jackson's birthplace, Carowinds, and Fish Camps.

http://www.learnnc.org/lp/editions/nchist-worldwar/5899  Winston-Salem is the home of the original KK.  What else did they teach you at Wofford?

When someone worth signing at a reasonable price becomes available.

Between completely revamping the entire O-Line, entire receiving corps, and entire secondary in the 2 years he's been a GM while digging us out of 16 million cap hole and trying to lock up a franchise QB in the process, I'm willing to give him a pass on LT, even though it's important. He's just playing the cards he's been dealt.

If someone you described becomes available there will be 10 teams waiting in line to overpay because LT is put on a pedestal. We are going to need to get lucky in the draft to have a good LT. Luckily we have Cam who can compensate for deficiencies at LT by making plays with his legs. So it's definitely still possible to go all of the way with a below average LT.

Healthy QBs with full seasons of work do, from time to time throw picks.  In games and also in practice.  This could be for a number of reasons.  Perhaps he got the play wrong, perhaps the receiver got the play wrong, perhaps the defensive guy did his job, read the play and jumped the route. Practice is a good time to get these things situated.
