Looks like we're not quite done with Stephen Hill just yet......cleared waivers, and we've officially placed him on IR, continuing to own his rights.

Hopefully he makes a full recovery and is able to contribute next season.

Jeremy Maclin came off his torn ACL to catch 85 passes for 1318 yards last year. Of course Hill is no Jeremy Maclin at this point, but it can be done.

Hill wasn't exactly lighting it up in practice before all this, I feel for the guy, but his career may be done.

Yeah, unless another team picked him up off of waivers (re: the Stanford RB from last year and the Patriots), they kind of are required to do that.

As cut-throat as the NFL is, even they're not allowed to say "Hey, you just tore your ACL in one of our practices?  Sorry, dude, we're gonna have to cut you and you'll need to take care of that knee on your own."
