Jerseys on adults are teh ghey anyway. Where it is worn in this instance is by definition an additional damning step I'll admit, but the capacity for "jersey in public" kind of defines these people from the jump. Kind of like DRUNK redneck, LAZY asshole, or ENTITLED liberal. It's just poo-icing on the already inedible cow pie.

why the fug would you go to practice in another team's jersey? practice. not a game, practice. boggles the mind.

i have absolutely zero, 0, interest in watching the practice of any other team.

I have to disagree. If I had the opportunity to visit a hometown team that wasn't necessarily my team I still would go. Pick anyone. I'd even go to a Jags practice. Pro football is fun to watch no matter who it is. That being said, I'd have the tact to leave my Panthers gear at home that day.

More often than not, I've heard people wearing other team's gear at Panther events because they feel the need to remind Panther fans that North/South Carolina was full of fans of other teams first and they're so hardcore dedicated to those team's that they have to go to Panther events.

Felt bad for the fans today. Practices were on the far field away from their view.

I live 40 minutes from Raiders camp and 30 from Niners camp. Not once in my 32 years has it crossed my mind to go look at either of these teams, let alone in my Panthers jersey.

It wasn't too bad for the people who knew to go by the end zone of that field. The shade was real nice and you could see all the team drills developing and whatever individual drills were closest (mainly the WR drills, which would likely keep fans entertained). I loved watching the DB work up close. Tre Boston's way bigger and a harder hitter than he looks on TV. I love it.

This.  Living out here in CO, I used to have access to free Broncos suite tickets for virtually every home game through work.  Went to plenty and never once wore any Panthers gear.  Didn't even occur to me to do so.

Exactly, no harm in checking out sporting events but if the team you root for is not relevant and you are laced up in their gear you are probably a fat lazy beer bellied moron.

Well said. I wouldn't mind checking out any camp, but would wear jeans and a tshirt or something.
