The New Orleans Saints have released veteran defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley, citing a failed physical.

The Saints, in moves made Tuesday, also have placed receiver Marques Colston, safety Jairus Byrd and defensive lineman Glenn Foster on the physically unable to perform list. Those three players remain on the active roster and could return to the field at any time during the preseason.

I wouldn't get excited by this. Veterans Colston & Byrd are on the PUP list probably so they can avoid the full rigors of training camp. They'll start when it counts. No clue about Foster, this is only his 3rd season.
