Since when does an employer have a right to your personal phone records in the first place?

A warrant is required to get those records from a carrier provider and NFL can't get a warrant.  Then again, a warrant would also be required to force Brady to hand over that phone.  He was probably more concerned with it getting stolen, lost, misplaced, etc.

If I was him, honestly I probably would've done the same thing.

But, theres a really good chamce that SAS is just full of poo here, per usual.

Seems pretty clear Brady was absolutely confident in his being untouchable.

The best part of this (just the story, not the appeal) is that snarky ass florio owes Smith an apology. I don't always agree with Smith or particularly like him, but I sure as hell like and trust him more than florio.

 

edit: Just revisted to see if there would be an amendment to the article giving Smith credit and noticed it wasn't florio that wrote the article, it was that michael david smith guy.  Still, florio's responsible for his site's content so I stand by my statements :)
