I wouldn't call Clowney a bum. He's got a legitimate injury. This is one of those situations where people go overboard with the hate based on hype. Maybe we will never know if his career could have lived up to it.

Clowney has immense talent, but he's overrated. He had 1 great season at USC. And he followed it up with an average one. Whether it's injuries, effort or whatever else. He's an elite talent but IMO the hype was a little much.

Everyone says he's the next Peppers or even more talented than Peppers, I just don't see it. That seems unfair to both Peppers and Clowney. Peppers had the raw talent to be the best 4-3 DE ever. That dude was a LeBron James, Calvin Johnson level athlete.
