It just amazes me how the Patriots just seem to d*ck every team so often.

We were "supposedly" trading Peppers to them for a SECOND ROUND PICK

but they give away Seymour (less value than Pep) for a FIRST ROUNDER.

Sey could play DT in a 4-3 IMO. He really had a pretty good year last year and got some good pressure/sacks for a 5 tech in a 3-4.

i think at this point the Pats are using the Raiders as a bitch trading partner they can easily coerce into making a trade their way. Ol' Al is senile and his ability to conceptualize is long gone. Whatever the Raiders have in talent that is just rotting there can easily be picked off to produce elsewhere.

Seymour's a player, but not nearly worth what it took to get him.
