what's the maddest you've ever been as a panthers fan?

the officiating was awful when we played them in 2007 too.  i remember marion barber getting spotted at least a yard and a half/more likely two yards on a rushing attempt for a first down.  steve smith made a catch and was laying on his back having controlled the ball all the way through when a cowboy came by and popped the ball out.  the back judge ruled it a completed pass until who else but mike carey comes sprinting across the field, rules it incomplete, has the call challenged by fox, and then confirms his own ruling.

i remember their secondary straight up mugging our receivers and getting no calls too.  one of the most egregious ones where a DB basically tackled drew carter with the ball five feet above his head actually used to be on youtube.  no flag.

This was by far the most I ever got so angry about.  I had gone to the Seattle game where Matt Moore started his first game and won. I was excited about watching him play.  I thought he did well and I remember 4 calls all going against us.  Getting raped by their DBs and our DBs getting ghosts call.

Then about 5 minutes ago when I looked that game up.  Saw we have one career win during the regular season against the Cowboys. (two playoff wins helped ease my pain)

Too many... Suparowl stills hurts, 1-15 season that ended 0-15, I'm still heated about that Michael Vick superman move, other Vick being a video game char, joke delhommey cards game, rae curruth is maybe my maddest moment. I've been a little mad about recent choices for cheerleaders....

I was VERY pissed during/after this years viking game. So mad I quit drinking and I'm a professional boozehound. Still rae curruth is tops for me.

Edit*- forgot the entire 2010 season had too many to list. One of the worst offenses in history and conservative john fox didn't help.

i tried really hard to sell the delhomme extension to myself.  that it was a "salary cap move" to take a stab at extending peppers and it was basically delhomme's retirement deal.  that "hey brett favre is a gunslinger and he's had games like that".  that jake would bounce back because that's what he always did.

i made a pact with myself that i was officially tuning out the poo that delhomme, at the time my #2 all time favorite panther behind steve smith, would catch if he had a repeat performance against the eagles in the opener.  i wasn't going to argue with people about him or john fox's mettle as a head coach anymore.  as we all know the 2009 opener was nearly as pathetic as the playoff loss and that was that for me.  i think it soured me on fox worse than delhomme-it really was one of the most inept offensive gameplans i've ever seen.  it was like we had no idea that the eagles of that era thrived on the blitz.

You just reminded me. The extension would probably be #2 for me.

#1 would probably be John Fox saying week after week in 2009 that Jake "gives us the best change to win". Pissed me off to no end.

Jake was 100% finished after the card game, but he was the emotional child of Marty hernia & fox.

Crying during the waving process, showed they where too close to jake... Afterwards Mike holgem with the browns happily signed him to a similar awwwwful contract. I couldn't believe mike a QB guru did that.

2009 Carolina Panthers vs Philadelphia Eagles

Could not believe that Delhomme repeated his AWFUL play from the Cardinals game....Even worse, we ruined our 2009 season by starting him half the season.

Same year, sgainst the Bills 32nd ranked run d, after letting up 200+ rushjng yards the week previous...

We go in throwing with a washed up Delhomme.

The first time I was actually livid as a Panthers fan.

two of my angriest moments were the drew carter mugging on saturday night football in 2007 and cowboys game in 2009 when a deep muhsin muhammed touchdown was called back for offensive pass interference. i almost fuging destroyed the bar on that one.
