i think i was numb by that point. we'd seen that script too many times to not know exactly what was coming our way. it was 2012 all over again. god, what hell that was.

Anything John Fox and most of JR's hires. Bad losses come and go but shitty low budget leadership decisions keep on producing mediocrity.

well john fox actually was one of the highest paid coaches in the NFL at one point.  this franchise has shown a willingness to spend, it's just that up until pretty recently it's been allocated poorly.

honestly i think the biggest FO blunder was keeping hurney around after 2010.  at the same time though, i don't know if someone with the style and mindset of dave gettleman would have been willing to spend the top pick on a prospect like cam newton.  obviously he just signed him to a big extension but that's with the benefit of four seasons, two pro bowls, a bunch of records, etc.

Jake in the 06 nfc championship game against the hacks was just as bad as his 08 game against the cards. In fact, maybe worse. I swear he thru an int and wasn't even looking at the field. But the 49ers playoff game made me mad. not at the panthers though. The f%ck&ng refs. John kasay kicking the ball out of bounds in the SB still pisses me off to think about.

There have been many times for me, but I know an exact moment for someone else. 

I have a friend that lived near NYC as a kid, so of course he says he is "from there" and that everything is better there etc. Everyone knows that guy...

Never seen anyone madder than him when we went to NYC and shut out his beloved Giants in the playoffs.

I rubbed it in for a week but I had to back off because I feared he would go suicidal/homicidal.

The AZ playoff loss was a bad one for me. I had a bunch of people over to my place for a a party. Most everybody left during the third quarter and I proceeded to get completely wasted. I got so drunk I fell out of bed  and couldn't get back in. The wife was not impressed.
