what's the maddest you've ever been as a panthers fan?

i still remember my entire family huddled around the TV with my heart absolutely racing right before that play.  if we had pulled off the victory that would have been one of the great games in panther history but of course we all know what happened.

re-watching this i had forgotten how bad that defensive play call was though.  my god we dropped so many guys into coverage you'd think it was drew bledsoe or some other statue back there and not what might have been the actual fastest guy on the field who at that point in his career was only dangerous if he could escape the pocket.  it's amazing that it took our coaching staff what, five cracks at it to figure out how to slow down michael vick?

I had just become so sick of seeing Vick run for first downs no matter how many yards they needed that I was about to go crazy, and then that play happened. Fox realized that he needed an extremely fast LB to spy Vick and stop that from happening or we were never going to beat Atlanta. As a result we now have Thomas Davis, so it's not all bad.

wow I completely forgot about that. That game took ten years off my fuging life. I was having one of the worst days and thought it would be a good idea to tune into the NFL Network and see the Panthers finally get over the hump. Our defense got whipped by 3rd stringers. Easily one of our most disgusting losses.

i was at that game. dropped big bucks on nice seats and went all out on food and drinks. we were 1-1 after beating the saints with a nice offensive performance and i fully expected us to walk out 2-1 after smothering a listless giants offense and running up and down a tired defense all night.

instead ramses barden and david buttfuging wilson had career nights and i got a raging migraine halfway through the second quarter that stayed with me for the rest of the night, and the entire next day too actually, thanks to all the huddle threads lambasting cam for doing the superman when we were down 23-10

It's impossible to choose just one. As a fan since the second year I have been pissed off way too much. I do remember being pretty angry about the Roman Harper cheap shot on Smitty in the end zone. Nakamura. John Fox employing foxball at times that we needed to open it up. The inability to change the snap count against Seattle last year on the blocked fg. The prevent defense against the Bears that led to a loss a few years ago under riveras watch. They just continued to play off the ball and the Bears calmly moved 10 yards at a time to beat us. It's all the stupid coaching decisions/strategies that make me most angry. Why God? Why?!!!!

the loudest i ever yelled at the tv watching something panthers related was when jimmy clausen was drafted. i didn't like him. i thought he was an entitled punk and (as little as this might make me sound) enjoyed watching his plummet. i kept asking myself "which loser team is going to draft that clown" and was almost as interested in watching that as i was waiting to see who we draft.

when they called his name out all i could get out was

Kasay was so clutch for so long it was hard for me to get mad at him for it.  It just felt like he made a mistake finally at the worst possible time.

Oh yeah, I love the man. I hated that kick off and I'm sure he did too.

Probably the Bills game in 2013. I knew they were going to march down the field and score the winning TD, but for some reason I still went ballistic when it happened. I just remember being surrounded by other Bills fans giving me hell afterwards, and me storming out of the bar.

That Arizona game was bad, also. I've never been good at losing. I went off on this Cowboys fan telling him to stfu cause he wasn't even from Dallas. I remember cutting the game off after I believe Jakes 3rd int, and wasn't heard from again until the next week.

i think i was numb by that point. we'd seen that script too many times to not know exactly what was coming our way. it was 2012 all over again. god, what hell that was.

i was watching that game with a bills fan. how i managed to kick her out of my house without using my foot i'll never know.
