Negotiations stop on Opening Day

Mr. Scot

I really don't understand why he (or any GM) would completely and entirely rule out contract negotiations during the season. I completely understand not wanting it to be a distraction and focusing on winning games is the priority, but if it's just the player's agent wanting to get an extension done during the year I don't understand why DG wouldn't even talk to him. Not really a big deal and of course he knows more than any of us do, but it just seems to strange to me to completely rule it out. Like if Norman really wanted to stay here and wanted a deal done and had his agent make a fair proposal to DG that they knew he'd accept why wouldn't he want to get that done? Just an example, not saying that's what would happen with Josh.

So that agents are pressured into getting deals done before the season starts.

Gman uses the big dick mentality over the players and agents and i like it.  However he uses his dick tactfully and in a way that the players and agents get theirs too.

I think that gman was the best thing the organization has done in a long time.

Personally i think luke will be signed before the season....jury is still out on skronghold.
